What's the CORE?

When selecting your topper, you'll see that some products offer a choice of CORE.  The CORE of your magnetic eyewear is the foundation.  It's what the primary material is attached to before we laser cut it.

So why so many CORE choices, and what's the difference...

The choice is very personal.  Some love our flexible wood because it's so light weight.  Others are adamant about acrylic.  Most importantly, the CORE does NOT change the appearance of your topper.  The CORE choices we offer are black acrylic, white acrylic, and flexible wood.  We'll get into CORE behavior, storage, and maintenance in a future blog!  

Some of our products don't offer a CORE choice.  Most of our Bougie collection comes assembled on either black or white acrylic and we make that decision based on the material color.  So if the magnetic eyewear collection is lighter tones, we'll use white.  If darker, then we'll use black.  

In the event the primary material is transparent, we'll assemble over a CLEAR CORE so you can see the pattern through it.  We also disclose what CORE we're using in the event you don't have a choice.
