These gorgeous Quartz Mother of Pearl veneers, have been sliced away from their whole shells. Then, a very intricate process turns the curved shell into a flat and versatile product, using thin strips of shell.  The delicate strips are called feathers which are pieced together like a puzzle to form the full sheet.  This material dances in the light!
